Terms of sale and use
Last updated 23 October 2026These terms apply to your use of Still Life and to the purchase of credits, sold by Léo Dubois (Sole proprietor (micro-entreprise), SIRET 980 934 061 00014, 149 avenue du Maine, 75014 Paris, France). By creating an account, you accept them.
The service
Still Life offers art-directed photo scenes into which your product is integrated using artificial intelligence, with professional retouchers available for more complex cases.
The service is new: it will keep changing, and may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance.
Your account
One account per person. Please give accurate information and keep your password to yourself.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or is used to abuse the service, for example by creating several accounts to collect free credits.
Credits
Credits are used to create images and order services on the site. Some are offered when you create an account; you can buy more in packs (Pricing page). Credits can’t be exchanged for money, transferred or resold.
Purchased credits don’t expire. If we close the service, we refund the purchased credits you haven’t used. Offered credits have no monetary value.
Each generated image uses credits. Credits spent on an image are used, whether or not the result meets your expectations: how closely an automatic integration matches your product is a matter of judgement, and results vary from one image to the next.
Only generations that fail to produce an image are refunded automatically.
To make up for this, each image comes with two free redos, and you can ask for a manual integration by our retouchers.
You can request a refund for an image. Every request is reviewed by the Still Life team, who decide whether a refund applies, in full or in part. Sending a request doesn’t guarantee a refund.
Post-production is charged when you request it, and refunded only if we decline to do it.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros on the Pricing page. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French Tax Code: the price shown is the price you pay.
Payment is by card or the other methods offered on Stripe’s secure payment page. Your purchase is final once the payment is confirmed; the credits are then added to your account straight away, and Stripe emails you a receipt.
For an invoice, write to still.life.ai@gmail.com.
Right of withdrawal
Credits are digital content delivered as soon as you pay. Before paying, you ask for them to be delivered immediately and acknowledge that you then lose your 14-day right of withdrawal (article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code).
This doesn’t affect our refunds for failed generations or reviewed requests, described above, nor your legal rights if the service doesn’t work as described.
Your product photos
Only upload photos of products you have the right to use (your own products, or with permission). Don’t upload content that is illegal, misleading, or infringes someone else’s rights.
You give us permission to process your photos only to create your images and to handle your requests.
Your images
You may use the images you generate for your brand and products, including commercially.
The scenes and art direction remain the property of Still Life: you may not resell the images as stock or reuse the scenes on their own, without your product.
Reserving a scene takes it off the site for other customers once we confirm it; you keep using it. Customers who used it before keep their images.
Images are produced by AI models: results vary, and you are responsible for checking them before publishing (accuracy of your product, its text and logo, and claims made with the image).
Liability
We do our best to keep the service available and the images faithful, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect results. Within the limits allowed by law, our liability is limited to direct damage.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, write to us first: we’ll look for an amicable solution.
Otherwise, the competent courts are those designated by law; for professional customers, the courts of Paris.
